J&L Financial Toolset app for iPhone and iPad

The J&L Financial Toolset is a mobile version of J&L Software LLC desktop version.
It is set of financial planning tools to aid you in making those important financial decisions like mortgages, refinancing, credit card debt payoff as well as other easy to use tools.
The Toolset contains the following tools:
-- Mortgage Calculator
The Mortgage Calculator calculates the monthly payment for your mortgage loan.
It also creates a Comma Delimited (.CSV) file named mortgage.csv. This file contains the mortgage payment schedule for each year of the mortgage. You can open this file with any spread sheet program that accepts comma delimited files.
-- Mortgage Refinancing Analysis
The Refinance Calculator calculates the difference between your current mortgage and the refinanced mortgage. It give you the number of months it will take to make up the cost of the new loan an its lower monthly payment. It also totals the interest savings over the length of the mortgage.
-- Accelerated Mortgage Payment Analysis
The accelerated mortgage payment analysis calculates the possible interest savings and reduced mortgage time span obtained by increasing the monthly mortgage payment by a fixed amount and applying that amount to the mortgage principal.
Along with displaying the Accelerated Payment analysis the app creates a Comma Delimited (.CSV) file named amortgage.csv. This file contains the mortgage payment schedule for each year of the mortgage. You can open this file with any spread sheet program that accepts comma delimited files.

The Inflation Calculator allows you to calculate the future value of an amount based on an inflation rate.
-- Taxes / Inflation / Investment Calculator
The Investment / Taxes / Inflation analysis shows the effect of taxes and inflation on an investment over a number of years. It presents the results in todays purchasing power of the investment.
-- Trade-off Analysis
This analysis performs a "break-even" analysis between 2 alternatives over a number of time periods. It assumes your alternatives consists of the components -- Cost and Income.
The Cost components consist of:
Fixed Cost - One-time expenditures.
Period Cost - Re-occurring costs, costs per period.
The Income components consist of
Fixed Income - One time income.
Period Income - Re-occurring income, income per period.

The Effective Rate Calculator calculates the effective yearly rate of return for those investments that have the interest compounded more than once a year. Choose from either Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, or Semiannually.
-- Credit Card Debt Payoff Analysis
The Credit Card Debt calculator calculates the number of months it will take to payoff your credit card debt given the current balance, interest rate, monthly payment, as well as your estimated monthly purchases.
